I first met the Wine-a-Billy Rollers when my mate Brian Rockindad booked them to me up after he persuaded me to do a solo show in Portugal, about time really as I had been going there 15 years!
They had put a ton of work in learning my songs and we had a great night.
Then they asked to come to studio up in the Monchique mountains to make a record. They turned up one evening armed with litres of the red wine, we work hard on backing tracks all day and night, the next was spent doing the overdubs and vocals then they were gone!
Leaving me to mix and after a couple of small tweaks and adjustments it was sounding great!
Great mixture of styles by a great bunch of guys, let's do it again soon!
